Itinerary
5-Day Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Lake Bogoria Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Drive to Maasai Mara
Morning
- Depart from Nairobi in the morning with Jeep Safaris and Tours and drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve
- Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch
Afternoon
- Afternoon game drive in the reserve with an experienced guide from Jeep Safaris and Tours
- Overnight at a lodge in Maasai Mara.
Day 2: Maasai Mara
Daytime
- Full-day game drive in the reserve with Jeep Safaris and Tours
- Visit the Mara River and see the annual wildebeest migration (seasonal)
- Spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo) with the help of an expert guide
- Overnight at a lodge in Maasai Mara.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Naivasha
Morning
- Depart from Maasai Mara and drive to Lake Naivasha with Jeep Safaris and Tours
- Visit the Hell’s Gate National Park for a guided walk or bike ride
- Take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to see hippos and birdlife
- Overnight at a lodge near Lake Naivasha, such as the Lake Naivasha Country Club or similar
Day 4: Lake Naivasha and Lake Bogoria
Daytime
- Drive to Lake Bogoria and visit the lake’s geysers and hot springs with Jeep Safaris and Tours
- See the flamingos and other birdlife at Lake Bogoria
- Return to Lake Naivasha in the evening
- Overnight at a lodge near Lake Naivasha, such as the Lake Naivasha Country Club or similar
Day 5: Return to Nairobi
Morning
- Spend the morning at leisure or take an optional activity such as a visit to a local farm or a boat ride on Lake Naivasha
- Depart from Lake Naivasha and drive back to Nairobi with Jeep Safaris and Tours
- Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon
