Itinerary
10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Morning
- Depart Nairobi and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 2.5 – 3 hours).
Afternoon
- Arrive in Lake Nakuru. Enjoy a game drive, where you can spot flamingos, rhinos, and other wildlife.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park
Morning
- Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru before breakfast.
Midday
- Depart for Amboseli National Park (approximately 5-6 hours).
Evening
- Arrive in Amboseli in time for sunset views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 3: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Daytime
- Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli. Spot large herds of elephants and other wildlife against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 4: Amboseli to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Morning
- Depart Amboseli early and drive to the Tanzania border (approximately 1.5 hours).
Midday
- After border formalities, continue to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2 hours).
Afternoon
- Enjoy a game drive in Tarangire known for its baobab trees and large elephant populations.
Day 5: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Morning
- Depart Tarangire and drive to Serengeti National Park (approximately 3-4 hours depending on entry point).
Afternoon
- Arrive in Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive as you travel to your lodge.
Evening
- Witness the spectacular African sunset.
Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Daytime
- Full day of wildlife viewing in Serengeti, famous for the Great Migration (seasonal) and diverse wildlife.
Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Morning
- Early morning game drive or optional hot air balloon ride (additional cost).
Midday
- Depart for Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 2-3 hours).
Afternoon
- Arrive at Ngorongoro, at Leisure.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar
Morning
- Head to morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater.
Midday
- Drive back to Arusha (approximately 2-3 hours) and connect to your flight to Zanzibar.
Evening
- Arrive in Zanzibar and relax at your beach resort.
Day 9: Full in Zanzibar
Day 10: Beach Relaxation and Departure in Zanzibar
Daytime
- Enjoy leisure activities in Zanzibar. Options include swimming, snorkeling, spice tours, or exploring Stone Town.
Evening
- Transfer to Julius Nyerere International Airport (ZNZ) for your departure flight home.
