Itinerary
1 Day Tsavo East Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park – Mombasa
Morning
- 06:00 AM – Pick-Up from your hotel in Mombasa.
- Enjoy a light breakfast (packed) during the journey.
- 07:00 AM – Depart for Tsavo East National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive from Mombasa.
- 09:00 AM – Enter Tsavo East National Park and begin your game drive.
Late Morning
- Game drive highlights include elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, rhinoceros, and the iconic red elephants of Tsavo.
- 11:30 AM – Optional nature walk with a qualified guide.
Midday
- 12:30 PM – Lunch at a designated picnic spot or lodge.
Afternoon
- 01:30 PM – Continue game drive, including a visit to Aruba Dam.
- 04:00 PM – Afternoon game drive exploring more of the park.
- 05:30 PM – Exit Tsavo East National Park and begin journey back to Mombasa.
- 07:30 PM – Arrive back at your hotel.
